In Blackjack, you have two cards in front of you – a face-up card and a face-down card. If the face-up card is 10 or higher, the dealer checks for blackjack and turns over his cards. Face cards

Aces

Players with aces usually split when the dealer shows an ace, since a pair of aces has a value of two, soft 12, or soft 17. If you have two aces, however, you should split. Splitting your hand gives you two chances to hit blackjack, and it increases your odds of winning. Additionally, there are more ten-value cards in the deck than there are of any other card in the deck. Therefore, your chances of beating the dealer are much higher.

Insurance

Rules
