1 Year Anniversary
July 8th, 2008
July 5th was this site’s 1 year anniversary.
Here I am blogging at one of my satellite offices.
I just wanted to thank everyone who reads this blog for all the comments, emails, and support. I truly love sharing my knowledge with others and hope this site turns into a great resource for anyone needing help or inspiration when working with ActionScript. I have watched my traffic grow from 77 visits in July of 07 to just over 169 people a day last month totaling 5,078 visits in June of 08! The first 6 days of this month alone have generated over 500 visits and I have all of you to thank!
I am always running into people (in the biz) who tell me they saw my blog or have been readers and its a great feeling. Please leave some comments on how you found me, what you think, and if this site has been a help. For any new comers here are a few highlights from this past year:
- FlexBuilder 3 vs FDT 31
- AS 3 Static Initializer Class
- Flash Player 10 3d Engine
- How To Create A Helper Class
- A Letter Particle Generator
- XML Config Class
- An AS 3 Reflection Utility2
And I have even more cool stuff planned to post for the next year! Hope you enjoy…
Thank again,
Jesse Freeman aka The Flash Bum

Keep it up. For me, your site has been a go to place for a perspective not directly from an adobe company blog.
Thanks for the work.
